The Federation of International Football Association(FIFA) has this 30th November announced her initiate of trying Limb Tracking Technology specifically in the Arab Cup which is supposed to kick off today in Qatar.

Sources reveal that should the trials be successful, this sort of technology is more or less likely to be used in the 2022 Qatar World Cup which is scheduled in November next year. This system will have the ability to detect players who are in an offside position and help referees in fast decision making. This system is not a standalone as it works hand in hand with the Video Referee System(VAR) that has already established across European football Leagues and across the world at large.
Atleast 10 cameras will be installed under the roof of every stadium to ensure maximum effectiveness of this AI tech.The BBC reports that 10 to 12 cameras collect up to 29 data points for each player 50 times a second.
