On his Twitter handle, Terry confirmed he was coming back to Chelsea after 4 years in a statement that read as below;
I’m delighted to announce that I’m coming home, and have taken up a consultancy roleat Chelsea academy. As well as delivering on field coaching sessions I will be involved in coaching discussions and mentoring our academy players.(alert-success).
Terry's wife, on her Instagram, wrote,

Chelsea, confirmed the news to the Blues fraternity through a tweet that read as below;
John Terry is returning to Cobham to begin a coaching consultancy role at the Chelsea Academy. 🔵

John Terry left Chelsea in 2017 having had 717 senior appearances, captaining over 500 games and winning 17 trophies including five Premier League titles and the Champions League.
